Georgia football star running back D’Andre Swift is getting plenty of preseason hype across the nation, regarded as one of college football’s top-five ball carriers entering the 2019 season.
However, when it comes to winning the Heisman Trophy, Swift’s name is scarcely mentioned in what is being described as a two-man competition between Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence.
While on ESPN’s “College Football Live” this week, former Georgia all-American defensive end David Pollack, now an analyst for the network, gave some insight into why he thinks Swift could be a dark horse candidate to bring the Heisman Trophy home to Athens.
