D’Andre Swift can pound his way to Georgia Football’s third Heisman

Georgia football’s last Heisman winner was in 1982 when Herschel Walker won.

Now the Bulldogs have a running back that could bring another one back to Athens. D’Andre Swift is heading into his junior season, and it’s his time to leave his mark.

In his first two seasons, Swift carried the ball 244 times for 1,667 yards and 13 touchdowns averaging 6.8 yards a carry.

Now those numbers may not seem like much when you look at them on paper, but if you look harder, you’ll see he got some significant yards.

As a freshman, Swift bulldozed his way to the third-string running back behind Nick Chubb and Sony Michel.
