Friday, news broke that the Georgia football program would be replacing junior quarterback Jake Fromm with Jamie Newman from Wake Forest.
The graduate transfer entered his name in the NCAA’s transfer portal after the Demon Deacon’s bowl game against Michigan State and has already made his way to Athens.
However, it appears the Dawgs are not done in re-stocking the quarterback cabinet for next season. Sure, there’s four-star 2020 quarterback Carson Beck and the soon-to-be cleared former four-star in Dwan Mathis, but what about transfers?
Georgia already landed former Nevada freshman Austin Kirksey in the portal in December as a preferred walk-on and added Newman last Friday.
