Former Georgia Bulldogs defensive end Sterling Bailey will be suiting up for his fourth NFL team this preseason. The Gainesville, Georgia native signed a contract with the Carolina Panthers on Tuesday after previously occupying a spot on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad.
Bailey, a 6’3 296 lb defender, started his professional career with the Indianapolis Colts by signing as an undrafted free agent in 2016. After being released, he signed with the Seattle Seahawks practice squad, where he played for two weeks. The Minnesota Vikings picked up Bailey next for the second half of the 2016 season, but unfortunately, he was waived in the offseason.
