A trio of Bulldogs combined to strike out 15 to lead fifth-ranked Georgia to a 6-0 shutout of North Florida Saturday at Foley Field.
Ryan Webb, Darryn Pasqua and Liam Sullivan combined to scatter eight hits with one walk while registering 15 strikeouts for Georgia’s first shutout of the season. The Bulldogs (8-3) loaded the bases with nobody out in the third and managed a lone run on a fielder’s choice by Randon Jernigan. At that point, Webb, who was on a pitch count, had provided three scoreless innings with eight strikeouts.
UNF (4-7) led off the fourth with a double by Tanner Clark.
