Baker Mayfield was not happy with the way he played on Sunday in a 38-14 blowout loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
The rookie quarterback for the Cleveland Browns had 2 interceptions on the day, while only completing 22 of his 46 passing attempts.
When asked about the loss, Mayfield referenced a familiar game for his feeling of agony. The Oklahoma vs. Georgia Rose Bowl Game was the first to come to mind for the Heisman Trophy winner.
“Against Nick Chubb,” said Mayfield.
Mayfield’s NFL career is off to a solid start, putting up some big numbers the past few weeks.
