Some would say college football is a religion down South.
That may not be the case literally, but religion and college football did intermingle after Georgia star running back Nick Chubb's sensational return this weekend from a severe knee injury suffered last year.
Chubb rushed for 222 yards and two touchdowns in a 33-24 Bulldogs win over North Carolina and looked fully recovered from a severe knee injury he suffered last year. Chubb's performance led to him being the topic of Sunday's sermon by Atlanta preacher Dr. E. Dewey Smith Jr. of The House of Hope Atlanta.
