Another Michigan forward opts for Georgia

ATHENS - For the second straight years, the Georgia men's basketball team has reached into Michigan to get a fast-rising big man.

Michael Edwards, a 6-foot-9 forward from Westland, Mich., committed to Georgia on Monday night. Edwards announced his decision on Twitter:

Ive decided to end my recruitment. I will be attending the University of Georgia! #godawgs #UGA @coachmarkfox

The news comes almost exactly a year after Yante Maten, a post player from Bloomfield Hills, Mich., committed to Georgia.
