Former Georgia cornerback Deandre Baker was selected with the 30th pick by the Giants on Thursday night, where he will join fellow Dawgs Alec Ogletree and Lorenzo Carter on the Giants defense.
Ogletree, who had a stellar season for New York last year, was thrilled to hear the news that Baker would be joining his defense.
He tweeted his excitement here.
Ogletree is coming off a season in which he recorded 93 tackles, 5 interceptions and 2 touchdowns. Meanwhile, Baker is fresh off an incredible collegiate career that saw him lockdown every receiver he faced.
