Alabama staffer joining Kirby Smart at Georgia

Kirby Smart apparently has a new assistant coach on his new Georgia football staff.

Glenn Schumann, Alabama’s director of player development and associate director of player personnel, tweeted Monday morning: “Great day to be a Georgia Bulldog!! Wheels up” with an emoji of an airplane and the hashtag “CommitToTheG.”

His new Twitter profile: Assistant Football Coach for the University of Georgia.

Schumann is a Valdosta native who graduated from a high school in McKinney, Texas.
