On Alabama’s first possession vs. Mississippi State they benefited from a lack of a review of a questionable play. The play was a run from RB Damien Harris that resulted in a moderate gain, but he appeared to fumbled the ball.
In live action it looked as if he was on his knee when the ball came out, but upon a closer look, he clearly fumbled.
The commentators pointed out that the play should be reviewed and Alabama didn’t snap the ball until there was 8 seconds left on the play clock. Plays like this need to be reviewed from the booth especially during a primetime game.
