ATHENS, Ga. – For a time this offseason, there was doubt that Trenton Thompson would be on the Georgia roster, let alone available to play this season.
But all of that now is in the past and he’s looking to keep it there.
After withdrawing from classes at Georgia in February over a significant unspecified medical incident, Thompson returned to practicing with the team this summer with the 2017 season being one of the biggest things on his mind.
“I would just term it as God puts you in places that you have to overcome,” Thompson said Thursday in his first public comments about the events this past spring.
