Former UGA quarterback Aaron Murray attended Georgia’s final preseason scrimmage on Saturday as the team prepares for its season opener against Arkansas on Sept. 26.
The CBS analyst and the SEC’s all-time passing leader then gave his thoughts via Twitter.
“All eyes were on the QB position,” said Murray. “I thought it was a great scrimmage. I thought everyone looked good and had their moments to shine.”
Murray went on to add that he spoke with new offensive coordinator Todd Monken beforehand, and the guy he felt that has a lot of upside was redshirt freshman D’Wan Mathis.
