ROSWELL, Ga. — Later this month, highly touted linebacker J.J. Peterson will be in Oregon for “The Opening” 7-on-7 tournament. Friday, he was trying to help Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County win the 2017 Corky Kell 7-on-7 tournament for the third consecutive year.
Peterson (6-2, 210) is a four-star recruit who is considered one of the top two outside linebackers in the nation as well as a national top-40 prospect overall. He has offers from, among others, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson and Georgia.
“I just can’t limit my options,” Peterson said. “I don’t know how every place feels and what they’ve got there.
