The Georgia men’s basketball team is looking to add a few more players to its roster for the 2019 season with at least one scholarship spot already up for grabs.
JoJo Toppin, a former three-star recruit who recently announced his transfer to Georgia State, created space for another scholarship on Coach Tom Crean’s roster. Ignas Sargiuntas and Teshaun Hightower also entered their names in the transfer portal and are expected to leave Athens.
This would probably open up three scholarship spots for the 2019 season. As mentioned yesterday, if Nic Claxton chooses to keep his name in the NBA Draft past the May 30th withdrawal deadline it would likely open up four spots.
