3 things to know: Lady Bulldogs vs Alabama Sunday

It’s amazing what a victory at Florida can do.

After starting its Southeastern Conference schedule with three losses — and three games it didn’t particularly play well in — Georgia broke through Thursday evening with an impressive 71-61 victory over the No. 20 Gators in Gainesville, completing its league-opening gauntlet of ranked teams.

It’s way too early to call the win a turning point in the season, but it does portend to what the Lady Bulldogs (13-4, 1-3) are capable of doing.
