The No. 8 seed Lady Bulldogs (21-9, 9-7 in the Southeastern Conference) traversed a distance of about 735 miles to reach South Bend, Ind., site of the Lexington regional.
Although the No. 9 Hoosiers (20-11, 12-6 in the Big Ten) only had to travel about 215 miles to get to Purcell Pavillion, it’s been 14 years since Indiana last appeared in the tournament.
