3 things to know: Lady Bulldogs in the SEC Tournament

The prelude to the NCAA’s big dance begins Thursday for Georgia as it starts play in the Southeastern Conference Tournament in Jacksonville.

The sixth-seeded Lady Bulldogs (21-8. 9-7) will face 11th seed Vanderbilt — which crushed Ole Miss 74-59 in the first round Wednesday — at approximately 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the tournament’s second round.

Since the turn of the century, Georgia has been rather predictable in the conference tournament, going 1-1 on 12 separate occasions.
