3 things to know: Lady Bulldogs at Tennessee

Georgia closes out the regular season this afternoon against Tennessee at Thompson-Boling Arena in a game with all sorts of interesting ramifications.

Georgia head coach Joni Taylor looks on as a referee indicated possession for Missouri during the second half of an NCAA college basketball game between Georgia and Missouri on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, in Athens, Ga. The call was later reversed in favor of Georgia. Missouri won 54-48. (AJ Reynolds/Staff, @ajreynoldsphoto)

If the Lady Bulldogs can come away with a victory, it will improve their seeding in the upcoming Southeastern Conference tournament (possibly allowing them a double bye) and should elevate their standing when it comes to the NCAA tournament, which Georgia (21-7, 9-6) missed last year for the first time in two decades.
