Georgia’s recruiting class had two major needs: Kirby Smart and his staff needed to add talent and depth on the offensive line and in the secondary.
The Bulldogs accomplished both on National Signing Day, signing seven defensive backs and six offensive linemen.
The offensive line is anchored by five-star tackle Isaiah Wilson from Brooklyn, N.Y. He is expected to vie for immediate playing time this fall.
In the secondary, Georgia added front-line players such as Deangelo Gibbs and Richard LeCounte at safety. Even with Dominick Sanders and Aaron Davis back for their senior seasons, the newcomers have the size and talent to play right away.
