Georgia fans often talk about how cool it would be to have two former Bulldog running backs in the same NFL backfield sharing carries.
And that may soon be a reality. Former UGA running back Todd Gurley met with the Detroit Lions last week, per ESPN, where fellow Georgia product D’Andre Swift currently acts as the No. 1 back. He left without a contract, but there’s some serious buzz about that visit.
Swift said he’d ‘be happy’ to have a fellow former Dawg split carries with him in Detroit.
“Knowledge. Experience,” Swift replied when asked how he would benefit from the Lions potentially signing Gurley, per LionsWire.
