Last year the then- sophomore was the youngest starter on the offensive line. Kublanow struggled early on, notably in the South Carolina game when his holding penalty wiped away a Todd Gurley touchdown. But Kublanow improved and soldified what became a good Georgia offensive line.
Out of high school Kublanow was a four-star recruit and teammates with two players who would sign with Alabama, Tyren Jones and Parker Mcleod. Jones and Mcleod have left Alabama, while Kublanow has become the most important player on the Georgia offensive line.
Kublanow isn’t the best Georgia offensive lineman — that distinction belongs to Greg Pyke or John Theus — but Kublanow is like a Swiss Army knife.
