The Georgia Bulldogs are 5-3, losers of three of their last four. The most recent was a disastrous performance against Florida, as UGA could only muster three points on offense. However, the Bulldogs host the 4-4 Kentucky Wildcats in a game the Bulldogs are heavily favored. Here are three reasons why Georgia will BLOW OUT Kentucky.
3. Poor QB Play By UK
Starting QB Patrick Towles has not played well this season. He's completing just 59 percent of his passes, with nine TDs and 10 interceptions. Those are terrible numbers for a college QB, especially for one in a pass-first offense. With Towles' struggles, UK is going to have major problems moving the ball on offense. Expect UGA to force a few turnovers and keep UK out of the end zone.
2. Bad UK Defense
The Kentucky defense has struggled mightily in recent weeks. Eastern Kentucky, an FBS school, scored 27. Auburn dropped 30 on UK and then the Wildcats gave up 42 to Mississippi State. In their most recent game, UK allowed a whopping 52 points. The Kentucky defense has serious issues and the Bulldogs will take advantage. After struggling on offense against Florida, Georgia will find it's footing and crush UK.
1. Running Game
Ignore what happened against Florida. That was a disaster game in every way and not indicative of how good Georgia's running game is. They'd be better if Nick Chubb was healthy, but both Sony Michel and Keith Marshall could start on many college football teams. Michel is the lead back and he could have a monster game against UK. The Wildcats have allowed more than 600 yards on the ground in their last two games. The Bulldogs ground attack should carry the offense, and the team, to an easy win.
