The Georgia Bulldogs and Missouri Tigers are both 4-2, and in desperate need of a win to stay alive in the SEC East. However, Georgia has the clear advantage this weekend. Here are three reasons why Georgia is GUARANTEED to beat Missouri.
Georgia Pass Rush
The Bulldogs have a pair of stud pass rushers in Jordan Jenkins and Leonard Floyd, both of whom could end up being first round NFL Draft picks. The duo has combined for 11.5 tackles for loss and 5 sacks this season. Jenkins might not play this weekend, but he hasn't been ruled out yet either. The two (or just Floyd if Jenkins is out) could wreck havoc against a Mizzou offense that has struggled mightily much of the season.
Missouri's Atrocious Offense
The Tigers have the worst offense in the SEC, averaging just 308 yards per game and 18 points per game. Missouri's defense has handled it's end of the bargain, but the offense has been just awful. The offense has posted 20 or more points just one since Week 2, and that came against South Carolina. The Tigers' offense won't fix their issues against Georgia and the Bulldogs will get a needed win.
Great Ground Game
The loss of Nick Chubb hurts, but the Bulldogs are still loaded at RB. Sony Michel is now the starter, and he's one of the most talented RBs in the SEC. Michel has 63 carries for 421 yards and 4 TDs, mostly in spot duty. UGA still has Keith Marshall, too. Marshall was a highly-touted recruit and was paired with Todd Gurley early in their careers, before a knee injury cost Marshall nearly two years. He's healthy now and he can contribute. He could start on many college football teams. With Michel and Marshall shoulder the burden on offense, the Bulldogs will pick up a much-needed SEC win.
