WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women’s basketball squad welcomed four newcomers to campus for the 2016-17 season. Additionally, Mykia Jones (Raleigh, N.C./Millbrook [Wake Forest]) will be stepping onto the court for the first time after sitting out last season due to NCAA transfer rules.
The season tips off at McDonough Arena as the Hoyas host local rival, George Washington, University on Friday, Nov. 11.
“I’m looking forward to seeing what the contributions of our newcomers will be,” said Georgetown Head Coach Natasha Adair. “They will give us more experience and depth inside and out.
