WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women’s basketball team will travel to the University of Memphis (2-1) on Sunday afternoon for a 3 p.m., matchup at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse. The Hoyas are currently 2-0 on the season, and the Memphis game marks the beginning of a five-game road swing for the Blue & Gray.
On Wednesday, the Hoyas defeated Virginia Tech, 73-56, in the squad’s home opener at McDonough Arena. Sophomore guard Dorothy Adomako (Midlothian, Va./Cosby) led the way with 19 points, while freshman point guard Dionna White (Baltimore, Md./Milford Mill) added 16 points and a squad-best nine rebounds.
