WASHINGTON - The official start of the 2016-17 women’s basketball season is Tuesday, but this doesn’t mean that members of Georgetown’s squad haven’t been busy since returning to the Hilltop in August.
Outside of class, boot camps and individual workouts, the team has been getting out into the local community to truly live Georgetown’s motto of “Cura Personalis,” which is Latin for “care for the whole person”. This is just what Head Coach Natasha Adair and her staff aim to encourage as she begins her third year at the helm.
“Community service is a part of our culture here at Georgetown University,” said Adair.
