WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women’s basketball alumnae Rebekkah Brunson and Sugar Rodgers are both excelling with their respective teams this summer in the WNBA. Both are starting for their squads and are ranked among the league leaders.
Brunson is one of only three players on her team to have started all 20 games for the reigning WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx. She is currently averaging 6.7 ppg and 6.9 rpg as well as shooting an impressive 94.3 percent from the free throw line. Her free throw percentage is second in the league and she ranks 12th overall in the league in rebounding.
