WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's basketball team will close out nonconference play hosting the Towson University Tigers (2-7) on Wednesday afternoon in a noon matchup at the McDonough Arena. The Hoyas are currently 6-3 on the season, and return to the Hilltop for just their third home game of the season.
The Hoyas have not played since Saturday, Dec. 12 due to final exams.
In the last outing, a tough third quarter proved to be the difference as the squad fell to the University of Alabama Crimson Tide, 78-66, at Foster Auditorium in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
