WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women’s basketball team fought back from an 11-point deficit to tie the score at 50, but RV/24 DePaul University used an 18-4 run to pull away for a 80-66 victory on Sunday afternoon in a BIG EAST Conference game at McDonough Arena.
The Hoyas saw their four-game winning streak come to an end and fell to 13-10 overall and 6-7 in the BIG EAST, while the Blue Demons improved to 19-7 and 11-2 in conference play.
Dionna White (Baltimore, Md./Milford Mill) scored a career-high 24 points to lead the Hoyas, shooting 10-of-20 from the field.
