WASHINGTON - Georgetown University Women's Basketball Head Coach Natasha Adair has announced the addition of Mykia Jones (Raleigh, N.C./Millbrook) to the roster. Jones is transferring to the Hilltop from Wake Forest University and will be eligible to play for the 2016-17 season.
"I'm truly excited to welcome Mykia and her family to the Hilltop," said Adair. "Mykia brings experience, toughness and a competitive spirit that will help propel our program back to the top of the BIG EAST. She has the ability to break down defenses, she scores in all phases of the game and has the will to win.
