WASHINGTON - Sophomore guard Dionna White (Baltimore, Md./Milford Mill) and junior guard Dorothy Adomako (Midlothian, Va./Cosby) were both named All-BIG EAST on Wednesday by the league office. White earned a spot on the second team, while Adomake was named honorable mention. The awards were voted on by the league’s head coaches.
This is White’s second-career honor after earning a spot on the second team last year as well as a place on the BIG EAST All-Freshman team. Earlier this season, White was a unanimous Preseason All-BIG EAST selection.
The guard is currently leading the team in scoring, averaging 15.
