BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Georgetown University football senior tight end Matt Buckman (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J./St. Joseph Regional), senior placekicker Henry Darmstadter (Alexandria, Va./George Mason) and sophomore safety Jethro Francois (Miami, Fla./Winter Haven/Victory Christian Academy) were selected to the Preseason All-Patriot League Team when honors were announced during Patriot League Media Day at Green Pond Country Club.
Buckman, a Second Team All-Patriot League selection at tight end in 2015, was selected at fullback/H-back after finishing with 32 catches for 251 yards and four touchdowns during his junior season on the Hilltop. Darmstadter, a Second Team All-Patriot League selection in 2015, returns to the Hilltop after connecting on 27-of-27 extra points, while making 9-of-13 field goals with a long of 46 yards.
