Georgetown (12-5, 2-4): Last week’s most notable Georgetown-related news was the viral real-talk timeout coach Patrick Ewing delivered to his leading scorer, Marcus Derrickson, after a particularly ill-advised Dirk-fade late in the shot clock against DePaul. The way things are going, it wouldn’t necessarily be surprising if that clip becomes the most memorable thing about Georgetown hoops in 2017-18.
