FAIRFAX, Va. - The Georgetown University women’s basketball team used a big second-half comeback to down the George Mason University Patriots (3-6), 63-57, on Wednesday evening at EagleBank Arena. With the win, the Hoyas move to 5-1 on the season and have won three straight.
“At halftime we talked about all of the things we had prepped for, but in the first half we hadn’t responded, we challenged them at halftime and the team showed up big,” said Head Coach Natasha Adair. “Dorothy (Adomako) hit shot after shot in the second half, Dionna (White) had ice in her veins with clutch free throws down the stretch.
