WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women’s basketball senior Ki-Ke Rafiu (Offa, Nigeria/Saints Neuman-Goretti) was one of 75 student-athletes who participated in the 14th Annual Women’s Basketball Coaches Association’s (WBCA) ‘So You Want To Be A Coach’ program in April. The event was held in Indianapolis, Ind., in conjunction with the WBCA Convention.
Rafiu will benefit from the experience as she stays on staff for one more season as a graduate assistant on the Hilltop.
“Ki-Ke was an excellent choice for the ‘So’ program,” said Georgetown Head Coach Natasha Adair. “She has a high basketball IQ, knows how to lead, is eager to learn and is the ultimate competitor.
