Lahaina, Hawaii - Georgetown opened up a 17-point lead at the half, fell behind in the second half and then used a late run in the second half to take the lead back and hit key free throws in the final two minutes en route to a 65-61 win over No. 15 Oregon in the first round of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational at the Lahaina Civic Center Monday afternoon.
The Hoyas improve to 2-2 this season, while the Ducks fall to 2-2.
Graduate student Rodney Pryor (Evanston, Ill./Notre Dame Prep/Robert Morris) scored a game-high 26 points, including 18 in the first half, and had 10 rebounds and four blocks to lead the Hoyas.
