WASHINGTON - Former players, like Dikembe Mutombo, Reggie Williams and Jaren Jackson, were there. And of course, the 2015-16 editions of the Georgetown men’s and women’s basketball teams were there. But to cap off Hoya Hoops Madness on Friday night at McDonough Arena, 2 Chainz was there.
A Gold medal-selling rapper who has had several track appear in the Billboard Hot 100, 2 Chainz took the stage at McDonough Arena around 9:30 p.m., finishing the evening off with a 30-minute performance that capped off an exciting night.
2 Chainz, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, played basketball at Alabama State and played against Georgetown during the 1996-97 season.
