WASHINGTON - Georgetown junior guard L.J. Peak (Gaffney, S.C./Gaffney) scored a game-high 20 points, including the 1,000th point of his career, and the Hoyas put three players in double figures en route to a 71-51 win over No. 16/16 Creighton at Verizon Center Wednesday night.
Georgetown improved to 11-10 overall and 2-6 in the BIG EAST Conference while Creighton fell to 18-3 overall and 5-3 in league play.
Peak hit 8-of-15 shots from the floor for 20 points, adding three rebounds and five assists as he became the 46th player in program history to join the 1,000-point club.
