WASHINGTON - Georgetown was neck-and-neck with top-seeded Villanova and took a lead midway through the second half, but the Wildcats used a 14-1 run to break open the game and the Hoyas could not recover en route to an 81-67 loss at Madison Square Garden Thursday afternoon.
The Hoyas finish the BIG EAST Tournament with a 15-18 record, while Villanova advances to the semifinals, improving to 28-4.
