WASHINGTON - Sophomore guard L.J. Peak (Gaffney) scored a season-high 20 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead four players in double figures as Georgetown used a big second half to pull away from Bryant University, 77-47, on Saturday afternoon at Verizon Center.
It was the second win in the last three games for the Hoyas, who improve to 2-3 overall, while Bryant falls to 2-4 overall.
Peak scored 13 of his game-high 20 points in the first half, while shooting 6-of-8 from the floor and hitting 7-of-10 from the free throw line.
