St. Patrick’s Day was much less kind to the conference; all three teams that played were eliminated. Seton Hall fell to Arkansas, Marquette lost a “home” game to South Carolina and Creighton could not handle Rhode Island.
The craziest two days in college basketball are over, though this year’s NCAA Tournament has featured fewer upsets than we have come to expect. That said, with five double-digit seeds remaining and 16 games to go before the weekend wraps up, the potential for madness still exists.
