LAHAINA, Hawaii -- Wisconsin used an early second half run to break open a close game and Georgetown could not recover, en route to a 73-57 loss to the 16th-ranked Badgers in one of two semifinals at the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, held at the Lahaina Civic Center Tuesday afternoon.
Junior guard L.J. Peak (Gaffney, S.C./Gaffney) scored 18 points, had three rebounds and two assists to lead the Hoyas, while graduate student Rodney Pryor (Evanston, Ill./Notre Dame Prep/Robert Morris) added 14 points and three rebounds.
The Hoyas shot 43.1 percent from the floor (28-of-65), hit 22.
