The Athletic Department for the Georgetown Hoyas has been hard at work for at least a year in preparation for the NCAA’s new rules allowing payment to student-athletes for names, images, and likenesses (NIL).
Today, Georgetown Athletics announced “The Blueprint,” a program to help student-athletes build their brands and prepare for NIL opportunities.
Casual Hoya has been told that The Blueprint is similar to UCLA’s “Westwood Ascent” program and other programs that use tools like INFLCR for branding and Athliance for compliance.
Georgetown athletes have been able to use INFLCR to share images and videos for several months (the press release says since 2019!
