WASHINGTON - Featuring a performance from rap artist Yo Gotti, the Georgetown University men's and women's basketball teams held their annual Hoya Madness celebration on Friday night kicking off the 2017-18 season.
The free event was open to all Georgetown students. Doors opened at 9:15 p.m. for the 10 p.m. event and those in attendance received a custom light up fidget spinner. Fans could also watch online following the entertainment from all over the country. Attendees were treated to performances by dance groups GU Jawani and Groove Theory as they entered the arena. Both the Georgetown cheerleaders and pep band performed later in the program.
