Marquette Uses Second-Half Comeback to Beat Georgetown

MILWAUKEE - Marquette University shot 61.3 percent in the second half and scored 61 second-half points, defeating the Georgetown University women’s basketball team, 87-72, on Sunday afternoon in a BIG EAST Conference matchup at the Al McGuire Center.

The Hoyas fell to 9-7 overall and 2-4 in the BIG EAST, while the Golden Eagles improved to 6-10 and 1-4 in conference play.
