Marcus Derrickson has earned a a 2-way contract with the NBA Champion Golden State Warriors!
In June, Derrickson, 22, went undrafted out of Georgetown. At Summer League with Golden State in Las Vegas and Sacramento, he was a bit of a revelation, averaging 13.1 points and 5.0 rebounds in eight games.
In five preseason games, Derrickson averaged 5.0 points and 2.8 rebounds. His best game came Sept. 29 against Minnesota, when he posted 10 points and three rebounds in 12 minutes.
Derrickson joins Damion Lee as the Warriors’ two players on two-way contracts.
