WASHINGTON - Georgetown University men’s basketball player L.J. Peak (Gaffney, S.C./Gaffney) was selected to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.
Peak helped the Hoyas to a 93-78 win over La Salle on Saturday in the Hoophall Miami Invitational. It was the fourth-straight win for the Hoyas, who improved to 6-4 overall.
In the win over La Salle, Peak scored a game-high 24 points, hitting a career-high 12 free throws, and added four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal to lead the Hoyas. It was his eighth game in double figures this season and his third game with at least 20 points.
