It’s difficult not to notice how differently the Sports Marketing Department is portraying the Georgetown Hoyas Men’s Basketball Team this summer.
Maybe it’s Patrick Ewing giving permission and more access. Maybe it’s advancement in social media and video capabilities. Maybe it’s the fact that the rising sophomores are pretty darn marketable. Whatever it is, we have to commend the recent “all-access” video presence and, frankly, let some of the older fans know that it’s probably time to get an Instagram account.
That said, while we won’t forget @GeorgetownHoops lying to us about Hoyas not playing in the Kenner playoffs, the surprising early release of the non-conference schedule is a very nice act of penance (listen to Casual and Bobby’s shock!
