WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women’s basketball senior guard Tyshell King (Baltimore, Md./St. Frances Academy) put good use to her time off this summer. After spending time in New York last year, King returned to the city to work four internships, hoping to gain experience that will turn into a job after graduation.
“My weeks in New York were interesting, super busy, fun, adventurous and even more fun,” said King.
Two of her internships were in fashion as she worked at a boutique. She also helped a fashion designer as he tries to sell his line to giants such as Macy’s Bloomingdales and Nordstrom.
